This cat is unique for its coat colors of orange, white, and stripes that can be brown or black. Male Bengal Tigers can go up to 270-310 cm in height and 220 kg in weight. Females can go up to 240-265 cm in height and 140 kg in weight. For diet, Bengal Tigers are obligate carnivores; They can only digest meat. They eat deer, wild boars, wild oxen, goats, birds, reptiles, fish and more. The Bengal Tiger is considered endangered due to poaching, habitat destruction, and climate change. Bengal tigers are illegally hunted for their skin and bones that are used in traditional Asian medicine.
The Siberian/Amur Tiger (Panthera Tigris Altaica) is another breed of tiger found in Russia and China. This cat is unique for living in cold, snowy places. Female and male Siberian Tigers can go up to 170-208 cm in height and 118-318 kg in weight. They eat elk, deer, wild boar, lynx, bear and more for diet. The Siberian Tiger is considered endangered due to poaching and habitat loss. There are only 400 left in the wild.
