BAY CATS

The Bay Cat (Pardofelis Badia) is a rare breed of cat only found on the island of Borneo in Asia. They share a common ancestor with the Caracel lineage, diverging from the ancestral cat species in Asia at 9.4 million years ago. This cat is unique for its coat color of mahogany red or blackish grey. This cat can go up to 53 cm in height and 3 to 4 kg in weight, they are about the size of a large house cat. In terms of diet, Bay Cats are carnivores; the Bay Cat eats small rodents, carrion, birds, and monkeys. There is little information known about the Bay Cat. Only about 2500 of mature Bay Cats exist in the wild, meaning they are endangered.
